Conversions

Tell Kata when a lead signs up, books a call or buys. Kata marks the lead converted, stops its sequence, and counts it as a success for the angle that brought it.

How it works

  1. 01

Kata adds a token to the link.

Every {{link}} lands on your page with kata=<token> in the URL.

  2. 02

    Your site keeps it.

Save the token with the sign-up or the order.

  3. 03

    Your backend calls the postback.

With the token, or the lead's email, and an optional value.

The value adds up on the lead and on the email. The dashboard shows total revenue per campaign.

The postback URL

Find it in Integrations, or with get_postback. It looks like:

url
https://api.katasend.com/hooks/postback/<key>

Full reference: Webhooks.

Lead data without a conversion

Send data alone (no value, no event) to save fields on the lead, like a quiz score or a form answer. It is not a conversion. The AI reads these fields when it writes the lead's next emails, in any campaign.
